Trail Gen2 Horse Riding Pants

  • When freedom calls and all you want to do is ride ... Our best selling Bootlegs just got better.

How is that even possible? Here's how:

    1. We've widened the pocket for easier access
    2. We've widened the belt loops so you can wear your wider belts
    3. We've removed the split to make it easier to adjust the length
    4. We've included an inside hang loop because apparently we aren't the only ones who wear our riding pants more than once before a wash
    5. And we've kept all the other things you've loved.

Comfort is always important, but even more so on the trail. Which is why our Trail Horse Riding Pants are a little roomier than our other styles and don't rise quite through to the waist.

This style features a waistband with keepers for a belt and a little D Ring at the front to attach your keys.

Our trail horse riding pants include the safety feature of a thigh pocket, large enough to hold a mobile phone, just in case your horse decides to head home without you.

Our trail horse riding pants have inbuilt tummy support, full suede seat and the underfoot keeper.

    1. Mid rise waistband with Belt Keepers
    2. Full Suede Seat
    3. Seamless Inner Leg
    4. Thigh Pocket
    5. Inbuilt Tummy Support without compromising comfort
    6. Perfect Fabric Blend
    7. Relaxed Fit
    8. Fabric Composition:  60% Cotton, 35% Nylon, 5% Elastane
    9. Available in all 5 colours:  Black, Navy, Grey, Brown & Wheat
    10. Teams beautifully with our riding shirts - we made them that way.

  • It's a personal thing. Some like clothing snug, some like them a little roomier, which is why our sizing covers a range.

    10 12 14 16 18 20 22
    BUST 83.5 - 89 89 - 94 94 - 98 98 - 102 102 - 106 106 - 110 110- 116 116 - 123 123 - 134
    WAIST 63.5 - 70 70 - 73 73 - 77 77 - 80.5 80.5 - 84.5 84.5 - 89 89 - 94.5 94.5 - 104 104 - 115

    INSIDE LEG 85 85 85 85 85 85 85 85 85

If you fall right in the middle of the range, then go with that size. If you're towards the beginning of that range and like your pants a little more snug, then maybe going a size down might suit you better. Towards the top end and like a little more room, then try a size bigger.

    You get the idea.

You will note variations in the leg length on the pants. The Trail pants have been cut a little short intentionally as they fall longer due to the split on the outside hem.

Our long-legged riders will appreciate that we've included a 3cm hem together with a 1cm turn. Meaning essential you could drop the length another 3cm and still have a 1cm hem.

We're more than happy to exchange for a change of size if they don't fit exactly as you like them - providing they're returned to us in their original condition, as per our RETURNS POLICY.

     QUICK TIP:

We've discovered that our sizing is very similar to Jeans West. If you happen to have a pair in your wardrobe, check the sizing.
Chances are you'll take the same size here.
Message us if you're unsure though. We're always here to help.

Beautiful, comfortable and practical. Nothing cuts into me, nothing falls down. Very flattering cut and shaped like we’re shaped. Thank you so much.

trail pants

happy with product and purchase but dissappointed to open parcel and find what seems to be black fabric even tho the stuckybum is blue as ordered. i assumed i was getting blue pants. however i will keep them as they seem comfortable and nice and long and no crutch seam like jeans.

Trail pants

Ordered the right size this time and love them!

Trail Gen2 JS

I am very pleased with my trail gen2 riding pants. They are exceptionally well made and comfortable.

Great product will be buying more

Not my first pair won’t be my last!

What can I say? As always The Ride Proud Pants, fit perfectly, feel wonderful on, and look so darn classy.
If you are hesitating about buying a pair, don’t, you won’t regret owning a pair, or seven.

Too long

As much as I love the trousers I’m disappointed you’ve decided to take away the 83cm length. I’ve had to shorten a few for my friends and myself. I can sew but they can’t. So sad.

Trail gen2 horse riding pants

Very happy with my purchase. They seem like very good quality and well made.I will definitely be buying another pair in the future

Sold on Ride proud Trail gen 2 pants

Totally sold on the Ride proud Trail Gen 2 pants. I am a 40 year , who’s body was getting a bit much for jodhpurs and who gets a bit too hot due to body changing climate for jeans.
So I decided to try Ride proud pants. Well what can I say, super comfortable. I was a bit unsure of the suede bum as I didn’t like them in jodhpurs but the pants soften up and have to you beautifully after a few rides.
They wash great, look nice, phone pocket is super handy and the fit me true to size. Customer service is fantastic.
Already looking at purchasing other pair and throwing out all of my jodhpurs.
Thanks Colleen for a great product.

Review after a couple of months of wear

OK, I've had these pants for a wee while now. I really like them. They fit really well, and the design is practical. The suede seat is awesome. I feel very secure in the saddle, an I'm pretty sure the suede has kept me in the saddle in a few spooks already. I also reckon they look good - make me look like I know what I'm doing! If I could change one thing it would be to have the fabric lighter and more breathable for summer, but in a few months, when summer ends, that will stop being an issue. And anyway, despite having pushed through gorse bushes and rasped my leg along with my horse's feet, there is no damage to the pants at all. Definitely worth it.
