Trail Gen2 Horse Riding Pants - Sale

I just returned home to find my order from Ride Proud waiting for me. This is my 3rd pair of the Trail Gen2 Riding Pants and I just love them. Great, comfortable and flattering fit. I got them in brown in the bundle with the Kindred shirt. It’s a beautiful combination and I can’t wait to wear it riding!

I just returned from a week of riding in Wickenburg Arizona where of course I wore my Ride Proud Trail Gen2 Riding Pants in navy. What always amazes me is how I can wear them day after day and they still look great. They shed dirt and hold their shape. After a couple days of riding I can still feel comfortable wearing them into town.

Just received my second pair of the Trail Gen 2 riding pants and I love them. Whether in the arena or on the trail they are super comfortable with generous pockets and well made. They are a little pricier than some but honestly they are worth it. I’ve bought a lot of riding breeches over the years and these are simply awesome for fit, comfort and function. I’ll be buying more!

I have been looking for jods with a cell phone pocket for a while now. I used to be able to import German Sonnenreiter jods but I haven’t been able to find anything similar until I found Ride Proud jods. I was a little unsure about the leg length being an average American woman of 5”4. The length is a lil long wearing them around the house but perfect in the saddle. I wear Ariat Fat baby boots and I was happy to see the boot cut fit over the boots perfectly. I love how comfortable the jods are and how they fit me like they were custom made for me. I wear a size US 4 so I ordered the AUS 8. Kudos to Colleen for her amazing customer service. I’m already thinking about ordering the Horizon Jean jods. I have also spread the word to my barn ladies about these fantastic jods

I bought these in Wheat. They are fabulous. I don’t wear pale coloured pants very often, but these pants have great support and do not show every lump 😉 I don’t usually need the stirrup and was pleasantly surprised to find a gap in the insert where I could tuck them up inside the leg. I have been too busy to take up the leg and have been folding them up too. The sturdy material stays in place so I can choose the length depending on the shoes I wear. This is my second pair of Ride Proud pants and I love them both.

I’m not the easy fit size 8-12 so I’m always a bit dubious about buying online and I like a sale, so buying a pair of Gen2 at full price was a big deal for me.

The arrived quickly and as a went to pull a face as I pulled them on I paused..... the slid on easily and felt, well .... amazing. Next think I’ve got one leg up in the air embracing the stretchy quality material. Love them - 100% worth the spend ... will be getting another pair

I can't say enough good things about these riding pants! Excellent, personal service from the company, excellent fit, incredibly comfortable, versatile enough for the trail or the ring and the quality is outstanding.
I feel secure on my young horses when starting out and look smart and feel safe when showjumping.
I can always carry my phone safely on my person and have easy access to it from the large thigh pockets.
Love everything about these pants and are my #1 pick for riding attire.

Having know Colleen personally for a couple of years now, I remember in the early day she was not going to manufacture the smaller sizes because she didn't think we would need them. After convincing Colleen to make pants for us too, I have to say how surprised I was that she has managed to make them fir perfectly. Thats just the start, there are absolutely no riding pants made in the world with the thought, quality, fit and sheer comfort these provide, and the confidence you gain riding in the saddle knowing you have your sticky pants on if your horse wants to be cheeky.

I wear these riding pants every day of the week. I love them . They are comfortable and smart. They outlast jeans. Which makes them better value in the long run..

This is my second order and I love the pants. They are comfortable and practical. However, approximately with $60 CND added for the two pairs it did push the total out of my budget. The socks are nice, won't use the hat I am afraid. Perhaps looking at a customs clearing service would make the costs more transparent - and easier to budget. I do love these pants tho!

As an English rider who does not like tall boots or even half chaps, I was thrilled to find Ride Proud pants, even if it meant shipping them from half way around the world (actually the shipping cost is super reasonable.) Kerrits and Irideon bootcuts are tight and the fabrics are thin, and to try to find any bootcut that doesn't have silicone is getting harder and harder to do. Enter Ride Proud. They have a substantial fabric weight, a suede full seat, and a generous inseam. Even better for my not-pear body type is that they fit in the waist as well as in the hips/thighs.

Customer service is phenomenal. This really is a business run by the owner.

My first purchase from Ride Proud didn't work out because the rise in the pants was too high. But some "mid-rise" offerings appeared, and they work great for me. Which brings me to two suggestions: since many of the styles of pants have nearly identical features, I'd love to see a chart developed for easy reference as to the differences. It would list features like fabric weight, pocket style, rise, fit (relaxed or slim), grip level, waistband style, etc., on one axis and the model of pant on the other axis, with checked boxes - or something that. The other suggestion would be to show an example of every color each pant comes in in the description, so there is no guesswork. These things would help customers to feel more confident in their purchases.

I spend a lot of time conditioning horses on trail. I love the full suede grip seat (super sticky for those unexpected spooks), the underfoot keeper keeps the pant leg from riding up and bunching at your knee, plenty of pockets, easy fasten at the waist band, and belt loops if you like riding with a belt. The pant withstands inevitable brush snags and do not tear like riding tights. They do stretch quite a bit with wear and I seem to be between sizes - the smaller size is a bit snug at waist and the next size up needs a belt to stay on. I’m an endurance rider and haven’t tried them on 25/50 miles yet, but I love them for conditioning rides!!

These are super comfortable riding pants that look great. I don't ride western but hate wearing long boots and these look so much nicer with short boots. I had a minor issue when my pants arrived but Colleen was very helpful and the issue is now resolved.

My riding outfits arrived, and I’m absolutely thrilled with them. They are a perfect fit for my age- I’m a bit old to still be wearing the same jodhpurs I wore in my 20’s!!

Both the fit around the waist and the length is great on the trail pants, and perfect for riding! Legends jeans, never mind the stables, I’m totally wearing those jeans out to dinner with a pair of heels!

Absolutely love them. Fabric is soft but tough, and comfortable. Only downside for me was the length, I had to take off 4/5" so also lost the underfoot straps. Otherwise excellent in every way from packaging and care of service to the first time wearing them.

They are very well made and so comfortable. Love be them

I really like the pants overall. They have a nice “grippy” seat, a fairly water resistant, sturdy fabric, and fit well. They are kind of long for my short legs so I wish they came in a shorter version. I still recommend them a greatly though!

I'm Tania I brought a pair of trail riding pants ,they are great so comfortable and fit well, I did find with my pants and that they were too long in the leg for me, which was an easy fix.
I hope later you can add more choices in leg lengths. great job love my riding pants
