The fabric has some weight and body, which means it holds its shape and doesn't cling. The inclusion of some elastine allows a little stretch for ease of movement. The high cotton content makes the shirt cool to wear.

  • You'll find our sleeve length a little longer than some. That's because we ride and understand that with bent elbows you need that extra length.

    1. Holds shape
    2. Doesn't cling
    3. A little stretch for ease of movement
    4. Cool to wear
    5. Longer sleeve length

    Fabric Composition:

    1. 97% Cotton
    2. 3% Elastane

Teams beautifully with our riding pants - we made them that way.

  • It's a personal thing. Some like clothing snug, some like them a little roomier, which is why our sizing covers a range.

If you fall right in the middle of the range, then go with that size. If you're towards the beginning of that range and like your shirt a little more snug, then maybe going a size down might suit you better. Towards the top end and like a little more room, then try a size bigger.

    You get the idea.

We're more than happy to exchange for a change of size if they don't fit exactly as you like them - providing they're returned to us in their original condition, as per our RETURNS POLICY.

We want you to love your Ride Proud purchase and we just want us to be fair to each other.

Therefore, we follow the guidelines of the Australian Consumer Law – here's the PDF directly from their website: ACL Info

If for any reason your order is not as you expected, you may exchange, replace or credit your purchase, when it is returned in saleable condition with tags still attached, and in accordance with the points below: - All items must be returned within 14 days from delivery and will be credited back depending on how you paid for them. - Items that show signs of wear or misuse will not be accepted for return. - We can't offer returns if you change your mind. - We can't offer refunds if you change your mind. - The best way for both of us is for you to try on your new riding garments and check them for fit and finish, with the tags on.

Please don't wear them for any length of time and certainly don't ride in them and then expect a return for a change of size. They need to be returned 'as new' for us to be able to sell them to someone who does fit that size.

If you've chosen the wrong size, you can mail them back to us and we'll arrange to send you the size you'd like.

If the item is faulty, we'll refund you the postage without question. Faulty does not include garments damaged from incorrect washing (so please read the care instructions!), nor does faulty mean where pants have been clearly stressed from wearing an incorrect size. Please read the care instructions and double check your size.

Please phone or email and discuss prior to returning your purchase so that we are expecting it and are ready to action the return or refund.

You should ensure your return is safely packaged and forwarded together with your invoice/receipt and be sure to get a tracking number.

Lacking size range- very limited sizing availability

I think excluding so many people by limiting your size range to a small size 16 when the average size Australian woman is a large size 14 or average size 16 is really poor. Yes budget constraints are understandable but instead of having 3 colours in limited range how about initially 2 colours in a wider size range .... even if you include a size range system rather than straight sizes, to cater for size 18-20 (made to fit average size 20)), and size size 22-24 (made to fit average size 24).
I can’t see why when the material is elastic in content why you can’t offer combined size ranges over the full size range, & be able to be more inclusive at either end so that each size combines to fit 2 sizes,.6-8, 10-12, 14-16, 18-20, 22-24, in only 2 colours and by using the bigger size in each range for garment measurements and to allow a larger range and will cater for different body sizes by sizing up or down when making choices to fit our individual bodies.. I feel by brands that are excluding in their size ranges and seem to cater to the smaller end of the market but choose to exclude a large percentage of the population by not including up to a minimum size 20 at the very least but preferably a size 22-24. Surely even with limited funding and financial outlay other options are possible such as this option I’ve presented rather than to exclude and insult us bigger framed and most typically ‘average size’ Aussie women?

Too gorgeous to actually wear

Gorgeous crisp stretch cotton, a touch of Haute Couture around the collar and cuffs...I like to parade around in it at home. I’m saving it for the Olympics so haven’t test-ridden in it! Want to buy more for work actually!

I would probably go a size up to accommodate sticky-outy boobs if you are lucky enough to have these.

shirts

I do not get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do the pants up to 22 and the shirts up to 16. WHAT....I am a pensioner and I still ride and I am 20 22 in pants

Carolyn, I'm so sorry that our lack of sizing in our riding shirts has upset you. I hope you'll understand it was just a matter of our budgetting constraints that has caused the limited sizing. It's nothing personal. :)
Our focus will always be our riding pants and I'm sorry but I can't even promise that we'll increase our range of shirts.
Regardless, I wish you the very best of luck with your hunt.
