When freedom calls and all you want to do is ride ...
These are our Original (Gen1) Trail Riding Pants. You'll find a few subtle differences to the Gen2, being the belt loops are slightly narrower on these the little, wee split at the bottom hem. The colours and sizes are exactly the same as the Gen2.

These Gen1 Trail Riding Pants are discounted, and once they're gone, they're gone.

This style features a waistband with keepers for a belt and a little D Ring at the front to attach your keys. The split at the hem allows room for the sometimes wider, comfortable western boots that we choose for a trail ride.
Our trail horse riding pants include the safety feature of a thigh pocket, large enough to hold a mobile phone, just in case your horse decides to head home without you.The trail horse riding pants have inbuilt tummy support, full suede seat and the underfoot keeper.

It's a personal thing. Some like clothing snug, some like them a little roomier.
If you fall right in the middle of the range, then go with that size. If you're towards the beginning of that range and like your pants a little more snug, then maybe going a size down might suit you better. Towards the top end and like a little more room, then try a size bigger.
You get the idea.
Our long-legged riders will appreciate that we've included a 3cm hem together with a 2cm turn. Meaning essential you could drop the length another 4cm and still have a 1cm hem.
We're more than happy to exchange for a change of size if they don't fit exactly as you like them - providing they're returned to us in their original condition, as per our RETURNS POLICY.

We've discovered that our sizing is very similar to Jeans West. If you happen to have a pair in your wardrobe, check the sizing.Chances are you'll take the same size here.

Great fit. Great customer service!
I'm in the States, but that didn't make a difference in ordering other than slightly longer shipping times. The first pair I got were too big for me, but it was no problem to just send them back and get the right size. The new ones fit very well. They're really long, so I'm going to take them to a seamstress for my short little legs. LOL 😂 this company was very easy to work with and I will definitely buy again.

Hi Colleen. I love the Trail pants. Super comfy both on and off the horse. Just wish they came in shorter length so I didn’t have to have them shortened. Being in between sizes, I should have bought a smaller size but decided to keep them as customs refunds can be a hassle. Definitely recommend these 🦄💖

BEAUTIFUL PANT - THEY MEET ALL MY EXPECTATIONS. MY ONLY ISSUE IS WITH THE LEG LENGTH (too long) BUT THATS AN EASY FIX. WELL WORTH THE PRICE TAG!!

I am so happy to review with 5 stars. I have ridden in the Trail Gen2 pants for a week now and they are just marvellous. Generous sizing and so comfortable. I am not a fan of breeches. They are designed for riders like my daughter 5'11 and size 10, not for me a 5'6 and size 14. I rode in them, shopped in them and even put my phone in the leg pocket! I couldn't feel the phone sitting there and it is not really noticeable. Length is perfect when you are mounted, if you think it is a bit long unmounted just roll the cuff. Definitely a fan.

I’m 5’3” tall. The pants are to long. I will need to have them shortened by a professional. I love the pants and willing too pay additionally to get them I wish there was a shorter option.

Doubling Up
I guess when you find the perfect pant to ride in, the only choice is “what colour next?!” And although going a light colour when your horse rolls in black dust may not have been a perfect choice by the end of the day - it does look great after a wash and when I head OUT on a ride at least!!
Two pairs now…. Still more colours to go (but I might just hold off for a little while???!!)
